SKRIPSI DEVELOPING LESSON PLAN OF NARRATIVE TEXT READING SKILL USING COURSE REVIEW HORAY FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

There are two main objectives in this research. The first is to explore the ways of developing lesson plan of narrative text reading skill using Course Review Horay for Senior High School. The second is to know the feasibility of Course Review Horay method in learning reading. The object in this research is Course Review Horay Method. This research is Research and Development (R&D). This research had been done in five steps, namely 1) need analysis, 2) research planning, 3) developing product, 4) product validation, 5) final product revisions. The writer used questionnaire to collect the data. Furthermore, quantitative descriptive analysis technique is in the form of percentage while the data is in the form of suggestion and the reasons for choosing the answers were analyzed using analytical technique qualitative. The score of the assessment result from the expert and students will be categorized by percentage formula. The product's feasibility is feasible to use in learning reading because the expert had analyzed the product. The researcher gave the expert questionnaire and asked the expert to give a score about the product. It made the product more valid to use. The assessment presentation from 2 validator experts, from the quality of aspect 82% and the content aspect 85%. The result of developing lesson plan of narrative text reading skill using Course Review Horay in the final product obtained results from the expert is 83.5% (very good).
