To conduct teaching English in the classroom, a teacher requires good preparation, such as a lesson plan. The lesson plan needs to be developed by the teacher as a direction for all activities. Through the lesson plans, teachers can provide what competencies will be achieved by the students. The pre-service teacher who assigned to the Demonstration School prepared a lesson plan before teaching. Pre-service teachers still find it difficult to create lesson plans that implement Task-Based Learning in the classroom. The Task-Based Learning method has advantages in improving mentioning, sorting, distinguishing, and producing simple sentences. So that the Task-Based Learning method has the opportunity to be implemented. This research took 3 samples from lesson plans made by a pre-service teacher from Indonesia and Thailand. This data analyzed by using descriptive techniques. Then, there were key features of Task-Based Learning which include: Pre-Task, Task, Planning, Report, Analysis, and Practice The results of data processing and analysis, among others: 1) is task-based learning implemented in a lesson plan? Yes, and 2) how is it reflected in a lesson plan? All of the analyzed lesson plans have aspects of TBL namely: pre-task, task, planning, report, analysis, and practice. The application of the Task-Based Learning method has a fairly effective influence in learning English in class at Demonstration School. The final result showed that 80% of the lesson plan of 3 pre-service English teachers implemented the key features. The writer suggests the teacher to increase the ability to make lesson plans that implement task-based learning.
