SKRIPSI DEVELOPING LEARNING ACTIVITY OF WRITING ANALYTICAL EXPOSITION TEXT IN LESSON PLAN USING TAD (TRANSITION-ACTION-DETAILS) STRATEGY

In 2020, the students must do the learning activities from home because of the covid-19 pandemic. The teacher was not ready in teaching online, so the lesson plan must have the right strategy to make students understand the material. Therefore, the writer developed the learning activity using the TAD strategy that can be used in the offline or online class. There are two objectives in this research. The first one is to examine what learning activity needed in learning to write analytical exposition text. The second is to know how to develop a learning activity using TAD strategy in writing analytical exposition text. The research design of this study is research and development (R&D). The writer used questionnaire and teacher’s documents to collect the data. The subject is development of learning activity in analytical exposition text lesson plan for eleventh grader of Senior High School 3 Magelang by using Transition-Action-Details (TAD) strategy. Then, the writer used quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative in data analysis technique. The research had been done in several steps: 1) need analysis, 2) developing product, 3) planning, 4) developing the materials, 5) revising. The product had been validated by the experts using questionnaire. The score of quality aspect is 90%, and the content aspect is 89%. Therefore the average score is 89.5% (very good). The product is feasible to be used in learning writing based on experts' validation scores. Hopefully, the next researcher gets motivated by this research to do another development from another perspective. Then, for the teachers surely they can improve the content and quality of learning materials to be better.
