The techniques of data collection for this research are documentation of students’ daily tasks of grammar score and speaking score. The data analysis techniques for these techniques are finding the number of correlations, knowing the significance between two variables, and interpreting the index score of “r” product moment correlation (rxy). The finding and discussion of this research showed that there is very low correlation between students’ grammar mastery and speaking skill. It is proved by the rxy (0.115) was lower than rtable in the degree of significant 5% (0.374) and 1% (0.478).
