The textbook is important in the teaching-learning process. The textbook uses by the teachers and students to guide them when they teaching-learning about the materials. Thus, the teacher and the students should understand the content of the materials in a textbook. Accuracy of materials, especially in reading materials, is important to make the students understand the texts and define the types of texts. The accuracy of materials involves social function, generics structure, and linguistics features. This study investigates content analysis of an English textbook entitled “Bahasa Inggris” for second grades of Senior High School, especially in accuracy materials because many textbooks did not suitable with the accuracy materials. The goals of this study were to find out the accuracy of reading materials in an English textbook entitled “Bahasa Inggris” for eleventh grades of Senior High School to meet the accuracy of materials requirements, and the description of the feasibility reading materials. The approach of this study was qualitative. The data of accuracy materials have been collected from reading materials in an English textbook. The feasibility of accuracy materials was analyzed by using BSNP requirements. It was elaborated on the table to see the construction. This study showed that the accuracy of reading materials in an English textbook meets the requirement of BNSP. There were 75% of linguistics features belonged to the fair category. The generics structure belonged to the good category. The linguistics features were 87,5% belonged to the good category. The feasibility of reading materials of an English textbook was 83% meant, which meant the requirements belong to the good category. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the accuracy of reading materials in an English textbook entitled “Bahasa Inggris” for eleventh grades of Senior High School is suitable with the BSNP requirements. Thus, the students can easy to understand the materials in the textbook.
