SKRIPSI THE USE OF EDUFIKRI AS VIRTUAL LEARNING PLATFORM OF SMA IT IHSANUL FIKRI DURING COVID - 19 PANDEMIC: STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the teaching and learning process changed rapidly. Indonesian Ministry of Education has instructed all schools to hold virtual learning activities. Belajar dari Rumah or online learning at home was implemented to prevent the spread of the virus. Therefore, technology played a significant role in supporting Belajar dari Rumah. As the solution to support program implementation, SMA IT Ihsanul Fikri created an online virtual learning platform called as EDUFIKRI (Edukasi Terpadu Ihsanul Fikri). This platform was created to help the teaching and learning process during the pandemic. However, in its implementation, there are several significant problems to analyze. This skripsi discusses problems related to the implementation of this platform. This study aims to analyze the students' perceptions and the positive and negative impact of using EDUFIKRI as an English online learning platform in SMA IT Ihsanul Fikri. It applies the descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study consisted of 67 students of SMA IT Ihsanul Fikri, namely 33 male students and 34 female students who had used EDUFIKRI. There are two methods of data collection. The first is with a questionnaire, and an interview follows the second. These questions relate to students' perceptions of EDUFIKRI as a virtual learning platform during Belajar dari Rumah. This study shows that implementing EDUFIKRI as a virtual learning platform during the Covid-19 pandemic is a good solution. 46% of students strongly agree that EDUFIKRI helps students learn independently and improve technical skills. A total of 62% of students agree that it is also appropriate for all students in several areas, such as the learning process and technical assessment. However, some obstacles are encountered and interfere with the learning process, such as lost assignments due to the absence of notification features and slow server loading access. Thus, based on the level of perception of students studied, it can be concluded that EDUFIKRI has positive and negative impacts on the teaching and learning process during its implementation, so improvements are needed to support EDUFIKRI as a better virtual learning platform.
