SKRIPSI DEVELOPING LESSON PLAN OF REPORT TEXT READING SKILL USING INFOGRAPHIC VISUAL MEDIA IN HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION

The teaching and learning process that returns to an online learning system is the background of writing this study. This study focused on developing a lesson plan using infographic visual media for reading that can be used in online or offline classes. The objectives of this study are (a) to develop a lesson plan of report text reading skill using infographic visual media, and (b) to know the feasibility of an infographic visual media in teaching reading. The research design of this study is Research and Development (R&D). The writer used ADDIE based on Branch’s (2009) theory, which has been modified into three steps, Analysis, Design, and Development. The writer used observation and a questionnaire to collect the data. The subject is lesson plan development of report text reading skill using infographic media for eleventh graders. Then, the writer used quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative data analysis techniques. The result of this study was the development of a one-page lesson plan using infographic visual media. This product was validated by the validator experts in the content aspect and material aspect. The average score of the content aspect is 3,59 with feasibility index of 0.90, and the material aspect is 3,71 with feasibility index of 0.93. Therefore, the final score of the feasibility index is 0.92. It has value in the range of 0,81 < x ≤ 1,00 and categorized as “Highly Feasible”. Based on the validation result and the experts’ evaluation, it can be concluded that the lesson plan developed can be used and the infographic was feasible as a learning media in teaching reading.
