ABSTRACT
The construction of toll roads is due to the increasing needs of the community for access, transportation and mobilization. The role of heavy equipment is needed to speed up the work. Productivity is related to the problem of limited time and unfavorable environmental conditions so that it has an impact on project implementation time. The purpose of this study was to determine the productivity, determine the number of heavy equipment and determine the effect of time on excavation and embankment work on the project.
The method used in productivity analysis is to make direct observations in the field to find out the real conditions in the field and then use the cycle time method, the cycle time method is a work measurement technique by collecting data in the field based on the time needed to complete a job and used to calculate a job.
The results of the study regarding the effect of time on the productivity of heavy equipment used in excavation and embankment work using 3 time alternatives, namely 1 year, 9 months and 6 months. By comparing the total planning costs and the appropriate total costs in the field, from the results of a price comparison of the total planning costs and the appropriate total costs in the field, 3.2% of the appropriate total costs in the field are more effective than the total planning costs
