This research was conducted on the basis of researcher’s observation that the students and teachers had facilities for using e-learning media, unfortunately the teachers were monotonous in delivering material not used interesting media, they have not maximized technology to facilitate the students by creating e-learning media and the students still have difficulty in writing English.
The aimed of this research were 1. To develop Google Site-Based E-learning media in teaching descriptive text in writing skill. 2. To know the feasibility level of Google Site-Based E-learning media for teaching descriptive text in writing skill.
The subject of this research was students at tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Mertoyudan. The data were collected through documentation and questionnaire. The researcher developed Google Site-Based e-learning media was done by using four steps Research and Development ADDE Model, with the following procedures: analysis, design, develop and evaluation.
The themes discussed on the website are meant to serve as teaching media and resources for students based on the content of the main lessons in the Merdeka curriculum for English subject in the first grade of Senior High School. To determine the feasibility of the Google Site-Based E-Learning Media, after analyzed the needs, design and developed the product the last the writer conduct expert validation. There were two validations involves media and material validations by one of the lecturer of Universitas Tidar. The media validation scored 90.80%, categorized it as "very feasible," while the material validation scored 93.75%, also categorized as "very feasible." Those high validation scores indicate that the Google Site-Based E-Learning Media is highly suitable for teaching descriptive text writing skill with revision.
As a result, the writer suggested that the teacher would be able to develop e-learning as one of the learning media, so that learning process in the school getting better and also fun, and there would be more innovations from future research to create e-learning media by using Google Site.
