These variables will be measured with instruments that allow numbered data to be statistically analyzed.
Based on the results of analysis, the data were not normally distributed or homogeneous. Therefore, the writer decided to use non-parametric statistical tests with the Mann-Whitney test. Using the Mann-Whitney test, it is found that the significant value in this study was < 0.05. In addition, The Guided Note-Taking strategy affects the students' listening skills in understanding the descriptive text. The Mann-Whitney test also shows that the value of | ZValue3.581 | > Ztable1.960. It is also found that Hα was accepted.
