Indonesian secondary school students' low reading comprehension in the EFL context is a serious issue impacted by three important factors: the students' not enough prior knowledge, weak motivation, and limited English vocabulary (Nanda & Azmy, 2020). Therefore, the use of learning media such as Liveworksheets is expected to improve reading comprehension in Analytical Exposition text for high school students as this website has so many benefits that students can obtain.
The study aims to find out if there is any difference in the students' analytical exposition reading comprehension who were taught using Liveworksheets and Google Classroom and to find out how effective the use of Liveworksheets on students' reading comprehension of analytical exposition text.
This study is a Quasi-Experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design research. The sample is X IPS J class and X IPS D class. The instrument that is used in this study is a pre-test and post-test.
The results of the study are there is a difference in the use of Liveworksheets and Google Classroom on students' reading comprehension of analytical exposition text. The result of the significant value of the independent sample T-test is 0,000 and it is lower than 0.05, so the t-count is significant, meaning that the two groups' scores differ significantly from one another. The alternative hypothesis (Ha) was also accepted. The use of Liveworksheets was also significantly effective on students' reading comprehension of analytical exposition text. The result of the significance value of the paired sample T-test is 0,001 and it is lower than 0.05, so the t-count is significant, meaning that the two groups' scores differ significantly from one another.
The writer suggests that teachers may use Liveworksheets as a learning media because of the many advantages that can be considered. In addition, the other researchers can develop this study with different aspects or learning materials and a wider scope in the future.
