Lac.) is one of the superior commodities in the freshwater fisheries sector which has promising prospects for cultivation. The problem with cultivating gourami fish in the Kledung Research Park is that the water quality is less than favorable, because the location is in the highlands, causing the water temperature to be low. This is thought to have an effect on the low survival rate of gourami fish. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of water temperature on the survival and stress levels of gourami fish and to determine the strains of gourami fish that have the highest survival against environmental conditions at Kledung Research Park. The research was conducted for 6 days using a descriptive experimental method designed according to a factorial experiment (2x2) in a Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 2 replications. The first factor is the gourami fish strain (A) consisting of Soang gourami (A1) and Bastar gourami (A2). The second factor, namely water temperature (P), consists of normal temperature (P1) and temperature at Kledung Research Park (P2). The results of the study showed that blood glucose levels were highest to lowest in sequence in each treatment, namely, treatment A2P2 was 91.58 mg/dL, A1P2 was 85.41 mg/dL, A2P1 was 72.47 mg/dL and the lowest A1P1 was 52 mg/dL. while the highest to lowest survival rates in each treatment were A1P1 at 95%, A1P2 and A2P1 at 45% and the lowest at A2P2 at 35%. The temperature water quality parameters at Kledung Research Park are not suitable for the life of gourami fish, namely around 17.5–22°C. Based on analysis of variance (ANNOVA) at a confidence level of 5% and 1%, the Kledung Research Park water temperature had no significant effect on the stress level and survival of the Soang and Bastar strains of gourami fish. The highest survival rate was in the Soang strain of gourami fish Keywords : Gourami, Temperature, Blood Glucose, Kledung Research Park
