SKRIPSI PENGARUH MACAM MEDIA TUMBUH DAN KONSENTRASI PUPUK FOREST TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT JAMBU METE (Anacardium occidentale L.)
ABSTRACT
The aim of this experiment is to know the influence of using the various growth media and concentration of Forest leaf fertilizer to the growth seedling of cashew (Anacardium occidentale L). The experiment was begun on October 22, 1991 until Ja- nuary 22, 1992 at Tuguran, Potrobangsan, Magelang, Central of Java. The altitude is 376 meters above sea level.
The experiment was done in the plastic house, using Factorial Design with Complete Randomized Design (RCD), had two factor, those factors are various growth media and Fo- rest fertilizer concentration, with three replication, The leves and factors as follows: The first factor. The various growth media (M) had 4 le vels, are: M: The latosol soil (as control) Co M: The latosol soil M: The latosol soil the manure (1: 1) the organic peat (1:1) MS: The latosol soil tong (1: 1) the compost of sugarcane blo- The second factor. The Forest fertilizer concentration (F) had 4 levels, are: Fo: The Forest fertilizer concentration 0 cc/liter 0 water F₁: The Forest fertilizer concentration 1 cc/liter water F2: The Forest fertilizer concentration 2 cc/liter water F3: The Forest fertilizer concentration 3 cc/liter water The result of the showed that the treatment of various growth media very significantly influenced to the height of plant, the leaves number, the stem diameter, the fresh weight of plant, the dry weight of plant, the tap root lenght and the lateral root number. The Forest leaf fertilizer concentration significantly influenced to the height of plant and very significantly influenced to the leaves number, the stem diameter, the freah weight of plant also the dry weight of plant. But, it did not influence significantly to the tap root lenght and the lateral root number. The best cashew's seedling can be resulted from the combination of latosol soil the organic peat, the Forest fertilizer with the concentration of 2 cc/liter water. It wos no interaction found between media and leaf fertilizer concentration on all of the parameters observed examined.
