SKRIPSI PENGARUH MACAM ZAT PENGATUR TUMBUH DAN SAAT PEMBERIAN TERHADAP HASIL KUBIS BUNGA HIJAU (Brassica oleracea var.)

ABSTRACT
The research concerning the influence of Kinds of Plant Growth Regulator and its Time of Application to the Yield of Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L. subvar. cymosa Lam.), to find out the most suitable kind of plant growth regulator and its time of application in broccoli cultivation. The research had been carried out on April 25th 5th to June 20th 1994, at Potrobangsan Village, North Magelang District, Magelang Regency, Central of Java. The altitude 18 376 m above the sea level. The kind of soil is Latosol, soil pH 6.0. The research is arranged in factorial, design is Ran- domized Completely Block Design (RCBD), consist of two factor and each consist of three level. Each combination. replicated three time. Factor of kinds of plant growth re- gulator: GA3 20 ppm, Paclobutrazol 50 ppm and Triacontanol 1 ppm. Ita fime of application: 10 days, 15 days and 20 days after planting. The result of the research showed that GA3 caused bet- ter in the height of plant among among the growth regulator trea- ted. Whereas Paclobutrazol caused better in the net weight of curd. And Triacontanol caused better in the dry weight of straw.
Plant growth regulators applicated on 15 days after planting increased the height of plant, gross weight of curd, net weight of curd and dry weight of straw. The heighest net weight of curd is 155.05 g. equal to 4.32 tons/ha was obtained by Paclobutrazol application on 15 days after planting. The lowest is 116.55 g, equal to 3.25 tons/ha by GA3 application on 10 days after planting.
