SKRIPSI PENGARUH SAAT PEMBERIAN DAN DOSIS PUPUK MAJEMUK NPK (15-15-15) TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN WORTEL (Daucus carota)

ABSTRACT
An: experiment to study the effect of time of applicati- on and dose of NPK 15-15-15 fertilizer on yield of carrot (Daucus carota) had been carried out since 21 April until 22 Juli 1996 at Ngablak village, Ngablak distrik, Magelang re- gency, The soil type with Andosol with pH 6,5 altitude 1393 meters above sea level. The research uses factorial experiment (4x4) with ran- domized complete block design consists of three replication. The first factor is NPK 15-15-15 fertilizer dose, consisted of four levels: 0, 100, 200 and 300 kg/ha fertilizer. Se- cond factor is time of application of NPK 15-15-15 fertilizer, consisted of four levels 10, 20, 30 and 40 days after plan- ting. The result of the experiment shows that: 1. NPK 15-15-15 fertilizer dose 100 to 200 kg/ha can increase plant height, length of roots and weight of roots. Dose of 300 kg/ha can increase fresh weight of straw and dry weight of straw, but it can not increase number of leaves. 2. Time of application of fertilizer at 30 days after planting can increase plant height, but it can not increase number of leaves, length of roots, weight of roots, fresh weight of straw and dry weight of straw.
