SKRIPSI PENGARUH JENIS TANAH DAN KONSENTRASI PUPUK PLANT CATALYST 2006 TERHADAP HASIL MENTIMUN (Cucumis sativus, L.)

ABSTRACT
The experiment of the effect of soil kind and Plant Catalyst 2006 fertilizer concentrations on yield of Cucumber (Cucumis sativus, L.), had been done since September 25th, until November 5th 2002 at Bubudan Village, Purwodadi District, Purworejo Regency. The altitude is 1 meters and soil pH 6,5. The experiment method using the plit plot experimen with completely randomized block design consisted of two factors and three replications. The first factors is Plant Catalyst 2006 fertilizer concentrations (K), as the main plot: 0; 2,5; 5,0 dan 7,5 g/1. The second factors is soil kind, as the sub plot regosol and latosol soil. The result of the research shows that the increasing concentration of Plant Catalyst 2006 able to make shorter harvest age, increasing fruit diameter, to make fruit extend, increasing fruit volume, weight per fruit and fruit weight per plant by quadratic way. Regosol soil shows that the shorter harvest age, the wider fruit diameter, the longest fruit, the heaviest fruit and the heaviest fruit per plant. There are high significant interactions between concentration of Plant Catalyst 2006 fertilizer dose and soil kind on fruit length and fruit weight per plant. The Cucumber where planted on regosol soil and with distribution of Plant Catalyst 2006 fertilizer 4,36 g/1 concentration able to gave the heaviest fruit.
