SKRIPSI PENGARUH LAMA PENYIMPANAN BENIH DAN KONSENTRASI TIACONTANOL ( Dharmasri 5 EC ) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT COKLAT ( Theobroma cacao L. )

ABSTRACT

The experiment about the effect of seed storage dura- tion and triacontanol (dharsaari 5 BC) concentration for the growth seedlings of Cacno, had been carried out sincs August 14, 1989 until November 7, 1989 at Potrobangsan, Magelang, Central Java, The soil type is regosol with pill 6,5 on the altitude 375 hove ass level,
Experiment design used factorial with arranged by Completly Handomised Design (RCD) using two trestnant and three replications. The first treatment, storage duration of seed (L) were:
L0 : The storage of seed as long as 0 day
L1 : The storage of seed as long as 4 days
L2 : The storage of seed as long se 8 daya
L3 : The storage of seed as long as 12 days
the second treatment, triacontanol (dharmaar1 5 EC) concentration (K) were:
Ko : Seaking in the water
K1 : Soaking in the concentration 1 el dharmaari/20 1 water K2
K2 : Soaking in the concentration 3 ni dharnaar1/20 1 water
K3 : Soaking in the concentration 5 al dharmaar1/20 1 water
The result experiment showed that trestnent duration of storage significant for the length of root and very significant for the percentage of germination send, aced lings height, leaves number, fresh weight of seedlings and dry weight of seedi inga. Although treatment concentration triacontanol significant for the fresh weight and very significant for the leaves number. Between the both trest nents significantly interaction for leaves munher.
The hbighest of seedlings height, leaves number, length of root, fresh weight and dry weight of seedlings was obtained by storage duration & daye. And the treatment by 3 ni dharmsari/20 1 water gives the highest leaves number and fresh weight of seedlings.
The bes combination treatment is storage duration on daya with soncentration 3 al dharmasr1/20 1 water (L) parcentage of seedlings was reached by Lotrekt nent (no storaged with 3 n mi dharuasr1/20 1 water)
