SKRIPSI PENGARUH MACAM MEDIA DAN VARIETAS TERHADAP HASIL SELADA ( Lactuca sativa. L )

ABSTRACT

A research abaut of medium kind and variaeties on the yield of letucce plan (Lactuca sativa. L) has been carried out from 11 June 1995 until 25 Julyb1995 in Bulurejo village Mertoyudan distric, Magelang at the altitude of 370 metres above the sea level, the soil type latosol with pH 5,33.
The research method Split Plot Design based on randomized complete group design, consist of 2 factor and 3 replication. The firt, as main plot consist of variety of Great lakes, Grand rapid, and Betawi.
The second, as sub plot consist of media of soil, soil and animal manure with proportion 2:1, soil and zeolit with proportion 2:1, soil and sand with proportion 2:1
The results show that the media of planting increase the number of leaves, the height of plant, the gross weight of plant, the net weight of plant, the dry weight of plant and the harvesting index.
The grosss weight of plant, the net weight of plant, the dry weight of plant and the number of leaves are spesific for each variety, but not the height of plant and harvest, index, No increase planting media of soil and animal manure and variety Betawi (VM₁) has the heighest net weight of letucce as much as observed 1.33,407 g at every plant.
