SKRIPSI PENGARUH ASAL STEK DAN MACAM MEDIA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT JARAK PAGAR (Jatropha curcas, L.)

ABSTRACT
An experiment of the effect of cutting position and kind of media on growth of Jatropha curcas L. had been done since June 7th until August 10th, 2007 in Candirejo Nursery Semarang Regency. The altitude is 310 meters, kind of soil is latosol.
The method of experiment is factorial (3x3) with randomized completely block design and three replications. The first factor is cutting position tip, middle and base. The second factor is kind of media: soil + goat feces fertilizer, soil Shikantan dan soil
bamboo leaves.
The analysis result shows that the using of middle and base part of cutting gives the longer shoot, heavier fresh weight and dry weight of shoot. Soil media that combined with Shikantan organic fertilizer and trash of bamboo leaves shows the heavier dry weight of shoot.
The longest shoot is at middle cutting of Jatropha seed that planted at soil and Shikantan organic fertilizer media.
