SKRIPSI PENGGUNAAN PUPUK TABUR-C SEBAGAI SUBTITUSI PUPUK SP 36 DALAM PAKET REKOMENDASI PEMUPUKAN PADA PROGRAM INTENSIFIKASI PADA SAWAH (Oryza sativia, L)

ABSTRACT
A study on the use of "Tabur-C" fertilezer as a substitution for SP-36 in a fertilization package recommendation in the rice intensification program was undertaken to find out the optimal dose of "Tabur-C fertilizer, in order to determine its feasibility as an alternative fertilizer. The experiment was conducted from May to September 1999 in Krengseng village, Batang district, Central Java provinci, on a latosol soil, 10 meters above sea level and type of climate according to Schmid and Fergusson clasification system is C.
Ther were seven treatments of rice fertilization package, replicated four time and arranged in a randomized complete block, design. The treatmens consist of fertilizer dose recommended by food-crop service fertilizer dose applied by local farmers, and five levels of fertilizer dose of Tabur-C and its combination with SP-36 in the recommended fertilization package.
The results of this experiment showed that Tabur-C fertilizer affected the weight of I 000 dry grains and the grain yield, but it did not affect the other growth components. The rice fertilization package using the lowest dose of phosphate did not inhibit the growth of rice plant. Four hundred kilograms Tabur C per hektare, which was in one fertilization package with recommended dose of Urea, ZA, and KCl, produced the highest grain yield and showed the largestrofit. Based on the results, it could be concluded that Tabur-C fertilizer is feasible to apply as on alternative of SP-36 fertilizer in a fertilization recommendation package in the rice intensification program.
