SKRIPSI PENGARUH KONSENTRASI ASAM GIBBERELLAT (GA,) DAN MACAM MEDIA PADA PEMBIBITAN KOPI ARABIKA (Coffea arabica, L.) TIPE KATE

ABSTRACT
The research about the effect of concentration of gibberellat and kind of media on coffee Arabic seedling (Coffea arabica, L.) stunted type had been carried out since 26 November 1999 until 12 April 2000 at Sukodadi village, Bandongan district, Magelang Regency. The type of soil is latosol with pH 6,5 and altitude is 520 meters.
The method is factorial experiment (3 x 4) with completely randomized design with two factors and tree replications. The first factor is concentration of gibberellat 0, 100, 150 and 200 ppm. The second factor is kinds of media ratio of soil: rice hull: manure of bamboo (2 : 1 : 2); (2 : 2 : 1) and (1 : 2 : 2).
The result of research shows media ratio of soil rice hull manure of bamboo (2 ; 1 : 2) gives best growth. Increasing concentration of gibberellat respoted quadraticly by seedling growth of coffea. Concentration of gibberellat 150 ppm on media ratio of (2 : 1 : 2) gives best seedeling growth of coffea.
