SKRIPSI PENGARUH SAAT DAN PERSENTASE PENGURANGAN JUMLAH DAUN ( DEFOLISASI ) TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN KACANG TANAH ( Arachis hyogaea L ) VARIENTAS KELINCI

ABSTRACT
The research is aimed to study effect of the time and percentage of the defoliation of the leaves on the result of peanut (rachis hypogaea L). The research has been done on February 24th, 1996 until June 1°', 1996 at the Village Badran, Kranggan, Sub District in Temanggung Regency, with altitude of 483 meters.
This research use Factorial Experiment in Split Plot with Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), with three replications. The first factor is time of the defoliation of the leaves at 25, 35, and 45 days after planting. The second factor is percentage of the defoliation of the leaves at O %, 15 %, 30 %, and 45 % from the bottom.
Resulty of the research show that defoliation at 35 days after planting as mush as 30 % of the leaves from the bottom is the best on the amount of the mature pods per plant, the weight of the fresh mature pods per plant, the weight of the dry mature pods per plant, the weiight of the dry seeds per plant, the weight of 100 seeds, and the weight of the dry seeds per plot.
