SKRIPSI PENGARUH SAAT PEMANGKASAN PUCUK DAN BENTUK LANJARAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL MENTIMUN ( Cucumis sativus L )

ABSTRACT
The research of effect of prunning age and kind of plant support on growth and yield of cucumber (Cucumis sativus.L,) has been carried out in June l7, 1995 until September10, 1995 at Sawangan village, Sawangan distric, Magelang regen cy, Central Java. The"soil type is regosol with 6,5 pH and the altitude l50 metres above the sea level.
The research methode is Randomized Complete Block Design:.(RCBD) with Factorial treatment of 2 factors with 3 repliacations. The first factor is prunning age (P) consist of 3 levels. no prunning, ? weeks prunning age, weeks prunning age.
The second factor is kind of plant support, singel plant support, double plant support, fence plant support.
Prunning age increases number o f branches, number of fe male flower, number of fruits, weight of fruit, fresh weight of straw, dry weight of straw.
Kind of plant support increases number of female flowers number of fruits, weight of fruit, dry weight of fruit.
