SKRIPSI PENGARUH MACAM PEMBERIAN AZOLLA DAN VARIENTAS TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN KUBIS DI DATARAN RENDAH ( Brassica oleracea var. capitata L. )

ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research is to know the influence of kind of Azolla on the yield of varieties of cabbage. This research was carried out from June 25 until September 30, 1994, in a green house of the akulty of Agriculture, Tidar University of Magelang, Potobangsan village, North of Magelang District, Magelang. The soil type is Latosol, pH 6 - 6,5 the altitude is. 376 metre.
The research used Factorial Methode based on Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) consisted of two treatmen factors, kind of Azolla and variety of cabbage with three replications. The kinds of treatment are without AZo-¬ lla, fresh Az6lla, compost Azolla, dried Azolla. The varie-¬ ties are K- Cross variety and Hybrid 632.
The used of Azolla could increase the height of plant, lenght of leaves, width of leaves, diameter of crop, crop weight, diameter of stem, fresh weight of straw and dry weight of straw. The dried Azolla gave the fasten time formation of crop.
The K-K Cross variety has higher values of plant height, lenght of leaves, width of leaves, the time in formatie on of crop, diameter of crop, orop weight and diameter of stem. Hybrid 632 has higher:values of fresh weight and dry weight of straw.
There were interaction between Azolla and variety on fresh weight of straw and a higher dry weight of straw.
The highest yield is 916,67 gram/plant for arop weight treated by compost Azolla on K-K Cross variety.
