SKRIPSI PENGARUH KONSENTRASI IAA DAN BENTUK POTONGAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TURUS KOPI ROBUSTA (Coffea canephora, Pierre Var. Robusta cheval)

ABSTRACT
The experiment about the effect of IAA concentration and form cutting on growth of Robusta cuttings had been done since June 1991 until September 1991 in Kuwaderan, Kajoran, Magelang, Central Java. The soil type latasel with pH of 6,5 and located at on of 500 m above sea level.
The experiment deloga utillued was factorial which based on completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two treat- ment and three replicated for euch treatment. The first treatment was IAA concentration (K) consisted of treatment with aquadeat as control (80). 75 ppm IAA concentration (K₁), 150 ppo IAA concentration (K) and 225 ppm IAA concentration (K₂). The second treatment was form of cutting (8) consin- ted of inclened cutting (B), shaped cutting (12) and no- rizontal cutting (3).
The result of the different shows that the treatment and concentration gives different highly significant effect to all of the paraseters absorved, consisted of percentage of alive cutting, lenght of shoots, number of leaves, fresh weight of shoots, dry weight of shoots, Lenght of root, num- ber of roots, frean weight of roots and dry weight of roots. Form of cutting given different noghly significant effect to fresh weight of roots, dry weight of roots and different significant to percentage of ulive cutting, dry weight of shoote and number of roots, But not significant to lenght of shoote, number of leaves, frenh weight of shhotu aml
lenght of root. From the two factors to the interaction of the lenght of shoots.
The good distribution of roots is showed on the cutting with the horisontal form of cutting. The best of treatment coubination is 150 ppa IAA con- centration with fors of inclened cutting (X2B), this is on percentage of alive cutting 100%, lenght of shoots 4,07 cm, lenght of root 5,35 en and number of roots 4,80.
