SKRIPSI PENGARUH UMUR BIBIT DAN KONSENTRASI CYTEX TERHADAP HASIL CABAI MERAH (Capsicum annuum, L)

ABSTRACT
A research on the effect of the age of seedling and cytex concentration on the yield of red pepper (Capsicum annuum, L.) was carried out from January 2 until May 6, 1991 In Kedungsari, North Magelang District Magelang, Central Java. The soil type was Latosol, with an altitude Of 380 m and soil pH 6,6.
The method of the research was Factorial method with Randomized Complete Bock Design (RCBD) consisting of two factor, each combination was replicated three times.
The first factor: age of seedling (U) consisting of three levels
U1 : Age of seedling at 3 weeks 1
U2 : Age of seedling at 4 weeks
U3 : Age of seedling at 5 weeks.
The second factor: Cytex concentration (C) consisting of four levels
Co : Concentration of cytex at Occ/1 aquadest
C1 : Concentration of cytex at 1 5cc/1 aquadest
C2 : Concentration of cytex at 10cc/1 aquadest 03:
C3 : Concentration of cytex at 15cc/1 aquadest
The result of the research has shown that the age
of seedling had very significant on the plant age of flowering, number of ripe fruits, weight of ripe fruits number of total fruits and weight of total fruits.
Cytex concentration give a highly significant effect on the number of ripe fruits, weight of ripe fruits, number of total fruits, weight of total fruits.
The two treatment had a significant interaction. effect on the number of ripe fruits, and higly significant effect on the weight of ripe fruits, number of total fruits and weight of total fruits.
The age of seedling by giving concentration of cytex. at 10cc/1 aquadest showed the higest result for plant height, number of flowers, number of ripe fruits, per- centage fruits set, weight of ripe fruits, number of total fruits, and weight of total fruits.
