ABSTRACT

The research entitled The grouw of distance effect andpost of weight on growth and yeild of elephant ginger (Zingber officinale Rose) the erect in under Paraseri- anthes valkataria, had been on since April 25th Agustus 25 2000 at Gadingsukuh Village, Kepil District, Wonosobo Re-gency. The aim of this research is to know the influence and interaction the growt distance and post of weight of grouth and yeild of elephant ginger (Zingiber officinale Rose). The erect in under Paraserianthes valkataria.
The research uses rendomized complete block design (3 x 3). The first factor is post of weight that is 40, 60 and 80 gram. The Second faktor is grow of distance that is (30 x 40) cm, (30 x 60) cm and (30 x 80) cm.
The treatment effect of the grow of distance in the parameters son number, fresh weight of post and dry weight of post. The treatment post of weight until 80 gram can merease the height of plant, son number, fresh weight of post and dry weight of post.
