SKRIPSI PENGARUH PERBANDINGAN UNSUR N, P, K, DAN JUMLAH PEMANGKASAN DAUN TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN OKRA ( Abelmoschus esculantus )

ABSTRACT

The research of effect of the ratio of N. P. K ele- ment and the number of pruning leaves on yield of Okra (Abelmoschus esculantus) has been carried out in Mei 22 until July 25, 1996 at Kertosari village, Secang district, Magelang regency, Central Java. The soil type is latosol with 6,5 pH and the altitude 362 metres above the sea level.

The research used faktorial (3x3) with randomized completly block design (RCBD), two factors and three replications. The first factor is the ratio of N, P, K element (P), consist of three levels are the ratio N, P, K element 1 1 2 (P1), 1:2:1 (P2), 2: 1: 1 (P3). The second factor is the number of pruning leaves (D), consist of three levels is Do (no pruning), D1 (the pruning 4 leaves) and D2 (the pruning 8 leaves).
The result of research showed that:
The ratio of N. P. K element 1: 2: 1 increases flower initiation, number of flowers per plant, number of fruits per plant, weight of fruit per plant, number of leaves per plant and dry weight of straw, but does not increase to height of plant and fresh weight of straw.
The number of pruning 4 leaves increases flower initiation, number of flowers per plant, The number of fruits per plant, weight of fruit per plant, number of leaves per plant and dry weight of straw but does not increase to height of plant and fresh weight of straw.
