SKRIPSI PENGARUH SAAT PENYIANGAN DAN DOSIS UREA TERHADAP HASIL KUBIS BUNGA ( Brassica oleracea subvar cauliflora DC. )

SUMMARY

The purpose of this experiment is to know the effect of weeding time and urea dose on the yield of cauli flo- wer (Brassica oleracea subvar cauliflora DC.).
This experiment was conducted at latonol soil type, on altitude of 840 m above sea level and pH 6,0.
Methodology of this experiment is the factorial me thode, based on Randomised Complete Blok Design (RCBD), consisted of 2 factor and three times replication.
Factor 1 weeding time (S), consisted of 4 levels, they aro:
S0 without weeding
S4 weeding on 14 and 28 days after planting.
S2 weeding on 28 and 42 days after planting.
S3 weeding on 42 and 56 days after planting.
Factor 2: Urea dose (D), consisted of 3 levels, they are:
D1: urea dose 5 g per plant
D2: urea dose 10 g per plant
D3: urea dose 15 g per plant
The result of this experiment showed that the treat- ment of weeding time increased to the diameter of curd, weight of curd per plant, fresh weight of straw and har vest index, but decreased to the height of plant, fresh weight of weed and dry weight of weed.
The treatment of urea dose increased to the weight of curd per plant, fresh weight of weed, dry weight of weed and harvest index, but did not influence to the height plant, diameter of curd and rresh weight of straw.
Weeding time and urea dose interact to the height of plant, diameter of curd, fresh weight of straw, weight of curd per plant, fresh weight of weed, dry weight of weed and harvest index.
Weeding time increased yield 264% 1399%. The bi- ghest yield was obtained by treatment 8,D2 (weeding time on 14 and 28 days after planting and urea dose 10 g per plant) (9,6982 ton/ha).
