SKRIPSI PENGARUH DOSIS ROOTONE F DAN JUMLAH BUKU TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN STEK TANAMAN NILAM ( Pogostemon cablin, Benth )

ABSTRACT

The aim of this experiment is to study the effect of the Rootone F dosage and the number of nodes on the yield of patchouly cutting (Pogostemon cablin, Benth)
The experiment was done from November 15, 1991 until February 15, 1992, at Potrobangsan village, District of North Magelang, Magelang regency, Central Java Province. The experiment's site is located 360 meters above sea le- vel, the soil type is Latosol with soil acidity (pH) of 6.0-7.0.
The experiment utilized was factorial, based on the Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD), consited of two factors, each treatment combination was replicated three times. The first factor, The Rootone P dosage (D) was consited of: 0 mg/cutting (Do), 3 mg/cutting (D₁) and 6 mg/outting (D2). The second factor, number of nodes (B) was consited of the number of nodes: 2 (B), 3 (B) and 4 (B2).
The result shows that Rootone F dosage very signifi- cantly affects the number of roots, number of leaves, fresh weight of shoots and dry weight of shoots and sig- nificantly affects the percentage of alive cutting, but does not have any affects on length of shoots, length of roots, fresh weight of roots and dry weight of roots.
The number of nodes very significantly affects the length of shoots and significantly affects the percentage of alive cutting and number of leaves, but does not have any affects on the length of roots, number of roots, fresh weight of shoots, dry weight of shoots, dry weight of roots and fresh weight of roots.
