SKRIPSI PENGARUH KERAPATAN TANAMAN DAN ALAR-85 TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN KEDELAI ( Glicine max L. Merrill )
ABSTRACT
The experiment was conducted from October to Decem ber 1992, at Susukan, Grabag, Magelang, Central Java, on Andosol soil, pH 5,86,5, at an altitude of 682 m. The purpose of the research was to know the effect of planting distance and Alar-85 to the yield os soybean (Glicine max L. Merril)
The method experiment used the factorial with as based on a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), with 2 factor of planting distance (3 level) and Alar-85 con centration (5 level). The first factor was planting dis tance 20 x 15 m population 66 plants/plot or plants/ha, 20 x 20 cm population 50 plants/plot 666.666 or 500.000 plants/ha, 20 x 25 cm population 40 plants/plot or 400.000 plants/ha. The second factor was Alar-85 con centration of 0 ppm, 450 ppm, 900 ppm, 1350 ppm 1800 ppm. and
Planting distance gave very significant effects to the height of plants, percentage of fruit set, number of fertile nodes, number of unfilled pods per plant, weight of dry seeds per plot and gave a significant ef- fect to the number of filled pods per plant.
Alar-85 concentration gave very significant effects to the height of plant, percentage of fruit set, number of filled pods per plant, number of unfilled pods per plant, fresh weight of straw, dry weight of straw, weight of dry seeds per plant, weight of dry seeds per 100-seeds weight and gave significant effects to plot, the
age to flowering and number of fertile nodes.
The two treatments indicated significant interac- tion at height of plant and weight of dry seeds per plot.
Planting distance 20 x 25 cm with gave Alar-85 con centration 1800 ppm indicated highest effect to percen- tage of fruit set, number of fertile nodes, number filled pods per plant, dry weight of straw and of weight
of dry seeds per plot.
