SKRIPSI PENGARUH LAMA PERENDAMAN BENIH DALAM BEBERAPA KADAR GIBBERELLIN TERHADAP HASIL KACANG HIJAU ( Vigna radiata L.)

ABSTRACT

The research is to know the effect of long sumbmerged and the plant regulator of Gibberellin concentration to Mung bean (Phaseolus radiata L.)
The reseach conducted from 4 th February 1990 until 11 th Apryl 1990 in Kedungsari, Magelang Utara, Magelang. The altitude 380 meters above the sea level, the soil is latosol with pH 6,5.
The methoda of research was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with factorial consist of 12 treatment com- binations with 3 replications. The factors long sumbmerged factors consist of 3 level; 12 hours; 24 hours 36 hours and concentration of Gibberellin factors consist of 4 le- vel: 0 ppm; 25 ppm; 50 ppm; 75 ppm.
The result of the research showed that the long sumb- merged was not significant to the number of fertile nodes, number of filled pods, fresh weight filled pods per plant, dry weight seeds per plant, weight of 100 seeds, fresh weight of straw. But was very significant to the number seeds germination and the height of plant at harvest time.
Concentration of Gibberellin was not significant to the number of fertile pods, weight of 100 seeds but was very signivicant to number seeds of germination height of plant. How ever number filled pods per plant, fresh weight filled pods per plant, dry weight seeds per plant, fresh weight of straw and dry weight of straw to shaw significant.
Among the treatment of long sumbmerged and concentra- tion of Gibberellin do not interaction to all parameter.
