SKRIPSI PENGARUH KONSENTRASI PUPUK MARGAFLOR DAN UMUR BIBIT TERHADAP HASIL SELADA (Lactuca sativa L.) Var. White Boston SECARA HIDROPONIK

ABSTRACT


The experiment about effect of concentration of Marga- flor fertilizer and age of seedling on yield Inttuce (Lactuca sativa L.) White Boston varity to hydroponic, had been carried out since December, 1991 until March, 1992, at Cacaban, South Magelang, Magelang, Central Java, at alti-
tude of 376 metres above sea leve.
The methodd of experiment was Factorial with Random- ized Completely Deesign (RCD), consist of two factors and three replications.
Factor 1. The concentration of Margaflor fertilizer (K), consist of four levels.
Κ0:0 cc/2 litres water
K1: 2.5 cc/2 litres water
K2: 5,0 cc/2 litres water
K3: 7,5 cc/2 litres water
Factor 2. The age of seedling (U), consist of three levels.
U1: seedling transplanted at 15 daya
U2: seedling transplanted at 25 days
U3: seedling transplanted at 35 days
The result of experiment showed that concentration of Margaflor fertilizer and age of seedling effected very significant to height of plant, number of leaves, longest of leaf, gross weight of plant, net weight of plant and age of harvested, but non significant to precentage of seedling of growth.
Interaction beetwen concentration of Margaflor ferti- lizer and age of seedling effected very significant to height of plant, number of leaves, gross weight of plant, net weight of plant and age of harvested, effected signifi- cant to longest of leaf, but non significant to precentage of seedling of growth.
The experiment of concentration of Margaflor fertili- zer 5,0 cc/2 litres water (K2) and age of seedling at 25 days (U₂) showed heigest net weight of plant with average of weight 150,69 grams and concentration of Margaflor fertilizer 0 cc/2 litres water (K) and age of seedling at 15 days (U₁) showed lowest net weight of plant with average of weight 37,63 grams.
