SKRIPSI PENGARUH POLA JARAK TANAM DAN KERAPATAN TANAMAN TERHADAP HASIL BAWANG PUTIH ( Allium sativum L. ) VARIETAS LUMBU HIJAU

ABSTRACT

The research entitled "The effect of the plant spacing design and crop density to the yield of garlic CAllium sativum L. Lumbu Hijau variety" had been carried out 10 th November 1991 until 15 th March 1992 at Kelurahan Sutopati. Kajoran District. Magelang Regency. The Central of Java. The soil type is Latosol, pH 6.5 on the altitude 1.200 m.
The purpose of the research is to find out the best of plant spacing design and crop density and their Interaction for the yield of garlic.
The research was used Split Plot Design with Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD). The plant spacing design as the main plot and the crop density as the sub plot and 3 replications for each combination treatment.
The first factor The plant spacing design (P) (3 levels)
P1: four long sided
P2: trianguler
P3 parallelogram
The second factor The crop density (J) (4 levels)
J1: 15 x 25 cm
J2: 15 x 20 cm
J3 15 x 12 cm
J4 15 x 10 cm
The plant spacing design and crop density signifi- cantly effect on garlic morphological changes so tha that the yield influenced.
Smaller crop density decreasing the yield in common area wi11 so much to go down the yield. The heighest result was reached by combination treatment of the plant spacing design and crop density Pf J4 that is 128.26 qu/ha and the lowest result was reached by combination treatment of the plant spacing design and crop density P2 Jf that is 30.18 qu/ha. Significantly interaction just for height of plant only.
