SKRIPSI PENGARUH CARA PEMBERIAN DAN DOSIS LEGIN TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN BINTIL AKAR HASIL TANAMAN KACANG TANAH (Arachis hypogaea L.)

ABSTRACT
A research to examine legin application and its dose to the root nodulation and pea-nut (Arachis hypogaea L.) yield Kelinci variety was carried out at green house Potrobangsan Village, North of Magelang District and alti- tude of 350 meters above sea level, at latosol soil and 6,5 pH. The research was from January until April 1996.
The method used is factorial experiment with Randomized Completely Design, with three replications. The first factors is legin application method there are non sticker of inoculant, water sticker of inoculant and tapioka sticker of inoculant. The second factors legin dose there are 4 g. 8 g and 12 g/kg seeds.
The finding of the experiment lead to conclution as follows:
1. Legin application with tapioka sticker inoculant gives increase number of effective nodules number of ineffec- tive nodules, number of filled pods, weight of filled pods, weight of fresh of effective nodules, N content of effective nodules and weight of 100 dry seeds.
2. The increase of dose of legin application can increase number of effective nodules, fresh weight of filled pods and weight of 100 dry seeds.
3. No interaction between legin application method and legindose.
4. Legin application with tapioka sticker and 8 g/kg seeds can increase number of effective nodules, number of ineffective nodules, number of filled pods, fresh weight of filled pods, fresh weight of effective nodules, N content of effevtive nodules and weight of 100 dry seeds.
