SKRIPSI PENGARUH LAMA PERENDAMAN DAN KONSENTRASI AIR KELAPA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN STEK PANILI (Vanilla planifolia, Andrews)
ABSTRACT
A research of the effect of soaking interval and concentration of coconut water on Vanilla growth (Vanilla planifolia, Andrwes), had been carried out since 5th October 2003 until 3rd January 2004 at Gilingsari Village, Temanggung District, Temanggung Regency. The soil is latosol, with pH 6,5. The altitude is 530 meters.
The method of experiment is factorial (3 x 3) with randomised completely block design, consist of three replications. The first factor is of soaking interval of coconut water 0, 12, and 24 hours. The second is concentration in 0, 50 and 100%.
The result of research shows that the soaking interval coconut water 11.48-13.30 hour may increase on length of shoots and fresh weight of shoots. Concentration water coconut 52-57% may increase on length of shoots, fresh weight of shoots, dry weight of shoots, fresh weight of roots and dry weight of roots. The longer the soaking interval on concentration coconut of water may increase on length of shoots with soaking interval 13 hour 30 minute on concentration 54,1% and too fresh weight of shoots on soaking interval 11 hour 48 minute with concentration 55,1%.
