SKRIPSI PENGARUH DOSIS KOMPOS AZOLLA DAN VOLUME PEMBERIAN AIR TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN SELEDRI (Apium graveolens L. )

ABSTRACT
The research about the effect of dose of azolla compost and volume of water feeding on the yield of celery (Apium graveolens, L.), had been carried out since May, 2000 untill August, 2000 at the green house of the departement of Agriculture, University of Tidar Magelang, the altitude is 360 meters.
The method is factorial experiment (3x3) on completely randomized design, consist of three replications with analysis of variance and orthogonal polinomial. The first factor is dose of azolla compost, 20; 40 dan 60 g/polybag. The second factor is volume of water feeding, 2; ½ and I of field capasity.
The result of the research shows that giving azolla compost with dose 20 g/polybag untill 45 g/polybag is able to increase plant height, leaves stalk number, nett weight of plant, gross weight of plant and dry weight of plant. Water feeding with volume ½ field capasity untill 0,8 of field capasity is able to increase at leaves stalk number, nett weight of plant, gross weight of plant and dry weight of plant. Adding azolla compost till 40 g/polybag on volume of water feeding 0,84 of field capasity is able to increase nett weight and gross weight of plant.
The research shows that the best yield is obtained at using 45 g/polybag azolla compost and volume of water feeding 0,8 of field capasity.
