SKRIPSI PENGARUH LAMA PENCELUPAN MATA OKULASI TANAMAN RAMBUTAN ( Nephelium lappaceum L ) PADA BERBAGAI KONSENTRASI LARUTAN KINETIN TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN OKULASINYA

ABSTRACT
An experiment to examine the effect of soaking dura- tion of flute bud of rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.) on different kinetin solution concentration to the suc- cess of buddings, was carried out at the Nursery Station of CV. Aneka Tani, Salaman, Magelang, from Mey 1987 until September 1987.
The experiment used a factorial method with a Randomized Complete Block Design, consisting of 12 treat- ment combinations with three replications. The first factor was kinetin solution concentration which consist of four levels (K) = 0 ppm, K₁ = 5 ppm, K2 = 10 ppm and K3 = 15 ppm) and the second factor was soaking duration of flu- te bud which consist of three levels (P₁ = 5 sec, P₂ = 10 sec and P3 15 sec).
The result of the experiment showed that kinetin concentration did not give a significant effect to all observed components, like the percentage of succeeded bud- ding, shoot length, number of leaves of buds, stem diameter of buds and percentage of seedlings. The soaking duration of flute bud gave a very significant effect the percentage of succeeded budding, with 5 sec. soaking duration of flute bud treatment gave the highest to soaking result compared with that of other soaking duration of flute bud treatments. To the other observation components, soaking duration of flute bud did not give a significant effect. Interaction between K x P influential the percentage succeeded budding, was at K in P₁ and P3 level, Pin 1 of K. and K₂ level. To the other observation components, inter- action between K x P did not gave a significant effect.
