SKRIPSI HERITABILITAS DAN KORELASI SIFAT GENOTIPE F3 HASIL PERSILANGAN BEBERAPA VARITAS KEDELAI (Glycine max (L) Merrill)
ABSTRACT
The research about heritability and correlation genotype characteristic F3 re- sulted from crossing some varieties of soybean (Glycine max (L) Merrill) had been conducted at Potrobangsan Village, Magelang Utara District, Central Java Pro- vince. It's altitude is 350 metres above sea level with kind of Latosol soil and soil pH is 6,5.
The research arranged in random complettly block design consisted of 13 ge- notypes as treatments, with three replicates.
The result of research shows:
1. Value of heritability is moderate for plant height, flowering age, plant age. number of fertile nodes, number of filled pods, number of unfilled pods, weight of the 100 dry seed, dry weight of straw. Value heritability is low for weight of dry seeds and fresh weight of straw.
2. Correlation between yield components of number of fertile nodes to number of filled pods is strong where greater number of fertile nodes greater number of filled pods. Correlation between flowering age to number of unfilled pods is weak quicker flowering age greater number of unfilled pods.
3. Genotype Filial third on each dossage of radiation increas plant height and shorten plant age, multiplied number of fertile nodes longer flowering age, de- crease number of filled pods, multiplied number of unfilled pods, increase weight of dry seeds, weight of the 100 dry seed, fresh weight of straw, and dry weight of straw.
4. The highest yield is on galur P (soybean filial third yield, crossed between variety Shakti to dossage of gamma 0,2 kGy and variety Galunggung with the dossage of gamma 0,4 kGy) is 8,26 gram.
