SKRIPSI PENGARUH BEBERAPA EKSTRAK GULMA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BEBERAPA VARIETAS TANAMAN PETSAI (Brassica pekinensis L.)
ABSTRACT
A research about the effect weeds extract on growth of several varities of Chinese Cabbage (Brassica pekinensis L.) has been carried out since 31 December 1995 until 2 February 1996 at Tegalrandu, Srumbung, Magelang, Jawa Tengah. The soil is regosol, the PII 6,0 with an altitude of 580 metres above sea level
The experiment was arranged with randomized completely block design (RCBD), arranged in factorial (2 x 5), with three replication. The first factor is varities of Chinese Cabbage, consist of Talaud variety and Granat variety. The second factor is weeds extract, without weed extract, purple nutsedge extract, cocongrass extract, bermudagrass extract and pigweed extract.
The results of the experiment show that weeds extract of purple nutsedge, cocongrass, bermudagrass and pigweed decrease length of roots, number of leaves, fresh weight of plant, fresh weight of edible part of plant, dry weight of plant and harvesting index of Chinese Cabbage plant.
