SKRIPSI PENGARUH RHIZOGIN TERHADAP HASIL BEBERAPA VARITAS TANAMAN KEDELEAI ( Glycine max (L) Merril )
ABSTRACT
The aim of this research was to know the influence of Rhizogin application on the yield of soybean varieties plant.
The experiment was carried out from August 1994 to December, at Potrobangsan Village, Magelang Utara Disrtic, at altitude of 376 metres above sea level, on latosol type of soil with 6,6 pH.
The experiment methode used was Split Plot Design based on Randomized Complete by Block consisted of two factors and four replications. The first factor was type varieties as Main Plot, consisted of three levels (V1 : Galunggung, V2 : Number 29, V3 : Orba). The second factor was Rhizogin application as Sub Splot, consisted of two levels (Ro : no Rhizo- gin, R with Rhizogin).
The research showed that variety had very significant effect on increasing the plant height at three, four, five and six weeks after planting, number of filled pods, fresh weight of straw, dry weight of straw, weight of dry seed per plant, weight of 100 dry seeds, weight of dry seed per plot, and significant effect on number of nodules, number of effective nodules, but not significant on the height of plant at two weeks after planting. The Rhizogin had very significant. effect on plant height at four, five and six weeks after planting, on number of nodules, on number effective of nodu- les, on number of filled pods, on fresh weight of straw, on dry weight of straw, weight of dry seed per plant, weight of dry seed per plot, and significant effect on plant of height at three weeks after planting, but not significant for height of plant at two weeks after planting and weight of 100 dry seeds.
The highest number effective nodules was shown by the Orba variety with Rhizogin application (24,2) and the lowest by Number 29 variety without Rhizogin (10,5). The highest weight of dry seed was obtained by Orba variety with Rhizogin application (224,087.g/plot) and the lowest by Number 29 variety without Rhizogin (183,425 g/plot).
There was not interaction beet ween variety and Rhizo- gin application for all variables observed.
