SKRIPSI PENGARUH NOMOR RUAS DAN MACAM WARNA PLASTIK NAUNGAN TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN SAMBUNG PUCUK "GRAFTING" TANAMAN DURIAN ( Durio zilbethnus Murr. )

ABSTRACT
A research about the effect of bud number and kind of shelter colour to the yield of grafting of durian (Durio zibethinus Murr) variety petruk. Has been carried out from 26 March until 18 June 1995. The experiment is located at Balai Benih Induk Hortikultura Salaman, with an evaluation of 296 meters above sea level, on a latosol soil, pH of 6, with an average of presipitation 2500-3000 mm/year.
The research uses factorial experiment with Random- ize Complete Block Design (RCBD). Consists of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is bud number 2,4 and from the top. The second factor is shelter colour, green, red, and yellow.
The result of the experiment shows that bud number influences total number of leaves of bud as well as per- centage of growth of graft, number of buds, length of buds, fresh weight of bud and dry weight of buds.
The shelter colour influenced number of percentage of growth, graft lenght of buds, number of leaves, fresh weight of bud, dry weight of bud, but is does influence to the number of buds.
