SKRIPSI PENGARUH MACAM MEDIA DAN JUMLAH MATA TUNAS TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN STEK MURBEI ( Morus sp )

ABSTRACT
The experiment of the effect of kind of growth of cuttings of mulberry (Morus Sp), carried out since February until April 1999, media on had been in Sanden Village, North Magelang Regency, Central Java. Soil types is Latosol with pH 6,3 and altitude 340 m.
The method of experiment is factorial method on com pletely randomized design, consist of two factors and four replications. The first factor is kind of media with four levels: Latosol soil; Latosol soil + the manure sheeps (2:1); Latosol soil + the manure of cows (2 1); Latosol soil the manure of buffaloes (2:1). second faktor is number of buds with three levels : 2, of The 4 dan 6.
The result of the research shows that the treatment kind of media is buds very significant to the shoot of number, the length of shoot, leaves number, fresh weight of shoot, dry weight of shoot, lenght of roots, fresh weight of roots an dry weight of roots. Number of buds on cuttings is very significant to the shoot number, the lenght of shoot, leaves number, fresh weight of shoot, dry weight of shoot, lenght of roots, fresh weight roots and dry weight of roots. of No interaction between number of buds and kind to figure of all paremeters. The best growth is gained on media latosol + of of the media mulberry seedlings manure of buffalo and number of shoot four.
