SKRIPSI PENGARUH DOSIS SAAT PEMBERIAN HERBISIDE PRA TUMBUH OKSIFLUOFREN TERHADAP HASIL BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.) VARIETAS BIMA

ABSTRACT
Experiment about "The Effect of Dose and Aplication Time of Pre emergence Herbicide Oksifluorfen on the Yield of Shallot (Allium ascalonicum) Variety of Bima" had been conducted from 9th July 29th September 1955 in Potrobang- - san, North of Magelang District, Magelang. With an altitude of 376 meters above sea level and a latosol soil type.
The purpose of this experiment is to know the effect of dose and application time of Oksifluorfen herbicide on the yield of shallot. The factorial experiment used Randomized Completely Block Design, With herbicide dose consists of 4 levels, and application time of herbicide consists of 3 levels with three replications.
The result of this experiment showes that Oksifluorfen dose influences the height of plant, number of leaves per hill, number of bulbs per hill, number of bulbs per plot, fresh weight of bulbs per hill, fresh weight of bulbs per plot, dry weight of straw per hill, fresh weight of straw per hill, fresh weight of weeds, dry weight of weeds. Application time of Oksifluorfen does not influence the all observed parameters. Oksifluorfen dose more than 2 1/ha causes more better control of weeds, but its toxycity is higher. The highest yield of shallot is obtained by treatment of dose 2 liters per hectar, aplication time of herbicide 3 days after planting, that is 80,07 grams per hill, or equal to 20,0175 tons per hectare.
