SKRIPSI PENGARUH BEBRAPA FREKUENSI PEMBERIAN PUBLIK DAN YEASE+ PADA PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BEBERAPA VARIETAS TANAMAN TERONG (Solanum melongena L,)

ABSTRACT
The research is aimed to study the effect of frequency of applications of Yease fertilizer to the growth and the yield of egg plant varieties (Solanum melongena, L.). The research was carried out in Salaman Village, Salaman Dis- trict, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province, the altitude is 380 meters. The kind of soil is Latosol with soil pH 6,5. The research was started from December 21, 1997 until April 23, 1998.
The method used is factorial experiment (3 X 4) in split plot design with randomized completely block design, consisted of three replications. The first factor is varie- ties (Mustang, Fortuna and Ungu Panjang) as main plot. The second factor is the frequency of applications of Yease fertilizer (0, 2, 3 and 6) as sub plot.
The result of research shows:
1. Height of plants, age of flowering, number of flowers, number of fruits per plant, weight per fruit, weight of fruits per plant and weight of fruits per plot on Fortuna variety indicats highest yield.
2. The frequency of applications of Yease fertilizer until three replications of plant the growth increase height of plants, number of flowers, number of fruits per plant, weight per fruit, weight of fruits per plant and weight of fruits per plot.
3. The Fortuna variety with of frequency of applications of Yease fertilizer until three replications of plant the growth highly yield on weight of fruits per plot, with weight of fruits per plot of 17,4 kg.
