SKRIPSI PENGARUH KADAR IBA DAN MACAM BENTUK SAYATAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN AKAR TURUS KOPI Coffea canephora var. robusta L)
ABSTRACT
An experiment it studied the effects of IBA con-centration and the various methods to the root growth of Robusta coffee (Coffea canephora var. robusta L) outting was done in Potrobangsan, Magelang, whose al- titude is 325 metres, from June 1987 to September 1987.
The experiment was arranged by Randomized Complete Block Design, using fifteen treatment combination with three replications. The five groups of IBA concentra- tion are I1 (0 ppm), 12 (2000 ppm), 13 (4000 ppm), 14 (6000 ppm), 15 (8000 ppm) and three forms of cutting S1 (platform-cutting), 52 (one-side-cutting), 53 (two- side-cutting).
The result of this experiment showed that IBA con- centration has a significant effect to the main compo- nent of the experiment and the form of cutting has a significant effect to the development of cuttings. The higher IBA concentration tends to give a higher result to each component of the experiment. The treatment combination of I5S2 showed the highest result the shoot growth, number of leaves, the length and the number of roots as compared with the other fourteen combinations.
