SKRIPSI PENGARUH WAKTU PENYIANGAN TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN KENTANG (Solanum tulserosum L.)

ABSTRACT
The experiment about the effect of the time of weeding on the yield of Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) Granula variety, had been carried out from October 18, 1988 until January 28, 1989 on thr Andosol soil type with altitude of 1385 meter, at Kejajar Village, Kejajar District, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java.
Its objective was to gain the effect of the time of mechanical weeding with hand on the yield plant of Potato.
This research used the Randomized Complete Blok Design (RCBD) with six treatments and four replications. The concer treatments are; without weeding, once weeding on 4; 6; 8; weeks after planting, twice weeding on 3 and 6 weeks after planting, 4 and 8 weeks after planting.
The result of the experiment showed that the time of mechanical weeding with the hand, decrease the fresh weight of weeds per area and dry weight of weeds per area; Non significantly effect to the height of plant, number of tuber per plant, weight of tuber per plant, fresh weight of plant and dry weight of plant.
