SKRIPSI PENGARUH PENGELOLAHAN TANAH DAN VARIETAS TERHADAP HASIL UMBI BAWANG MERAH ( Allium cepa fa. Ascalonium L. )

ABSTRACT
Research obtaining the influence of tillage and va- riety toward the product of shallot (Allium cepa fa. as- calonicum L.) had been caried out. at Sumberrejo village, Mertoyudan district, Magelang regency, Central Java, start on May end on August, 1987.
The soil is regosol type, 6,5 pH on 343 m sea level. Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) arranged in Split Plot Design (SPD) was used in this experiment consist of two factors treatment and three times replicated. Fac- tors I is tillage (P) as a main plot, consist of P₁: one time tillage, P2: two times tillage and P3: three times tillage. Factors II is variety (V) as sub plot consist of V₁: Maja variety, V2: Bima Brebes variety and V3: Ampenan variety.
Results of this experiment that the tillage did not significant influence to all parameter observed. Bima Brebes variety was obtained highest product and Maja va- riety is the worst both growth and product. Variety and tillage did not interact toward parameter observed. The highest wet weight of bulbus and dry weight per stool obtained in treatment towards one time tillage with Bima Brebes variety (P₁₂) those are eighty eight comma nine- teen gram and seventy five komma eleven gram per stool. The worst results of wetand dry weight per stool of bulbus obtained in treatment on two times tillage with Maja variety (P2V₁) those are fivety three komma seventy nine gram and fourty three komma eighty three gram per stool.
