SKRIPSI PENGARUH WAKTU PERONTOKKAN TANGKAI DAUN DAN POSISI MATA OKULASI PADA BATANG BAWAH TERHADAP HASIL OKULASI HIJAU TANAMAN DURIAN (Durio zibethinus Murr) VARIETAS CHANEE

ABSTRACT
A research has been conducted on the influence of time of petiole defoliation and scion position in stock for the succes of the green budding on durians (Durio zibethinus Murr) variety Chanee. At has been conduceed since, July 25 until November 8, 1988 at the Research Garden Horticulture at Cipaku Bogor. The soil type is Latosol with pH 6,5-7 the altitude is 260 meter above sea level.
The purpose of this research is to know the effects of time of petiole defoliation and scion position in stock for the succes of the green budding on durians.
The research used the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), whose counstruction factorial with two faktor treatments and four repetitions.
The first factor was time of petiole defoliation (W) consisted of:
W0= defoliation of petiole at the same time of budding
W2 = defoliation of petiole 7 days before budding
W3 = defoliation of petiole 14 days before budding
The second factor was scion position in stock (P) consisted of:
P1 = scion position 0 cm on the ring of cotiledon site
P2 = scion position 3 cm above the ring of cotiledon site
From that second treatments to be increase 6 treatment combinations.
The time of petiole defoliation had significant influence on all parameters observed, whereas scion position in stock did not influence, and no interaction could be found between the treatments.
Test of honest significant difference about 5% showed that the time of defoliation 14 days after budding gave the best result of green budding.
