SKRIPSI PENGARUH UMUR BIBIT DAN MACAM MULSA TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN BROKOLI (Brassica oleraceae, L.) VAR. GREEN MAGIC

ABSTRACT
A research to improve the yield of broccoli with type of mulches and rime of transplanting seedling was conducted on March 2019 to June 2019 in Bangsal Village, Pakis Sub-district, Magelang District with the altitude 1200 meters above sea level.
The research method used factorial experiment (2 X 4) arranged in a randomized complete block design. The first factor was the time of transplanting seedling which consisted as follows; 20, 25, 30, and 35 days. The second factor was black silver plastic mulch and black plastic mulch.
The results from the time of transplanting seedling at 28,95 day showed the highest number of leave, 28,181 day for the diameter of flower, 27,926 day for the weight of flower per plant, 27,720 day for the volume of flower, 27,997 day for the weight of flower per m² and 27,417 day for the harvest index. Using black silver plastic mulch produced the highest number of leaves, diameter of flower, weight of flower per plant, volume of flower, weight of fresh straw, and harvest index. While using black plastic mulch produce the best weight of fresh straw. Combination from the time of transplanting seedling at 34 day and black silver plastic mulch gives the highest number of leaves, combination from the time of transplanting seedling at 35 day and black silver plastic mulch gives the highest diameter of flower, weight of flower per plant, volume of flower and weight of flower per m². Combination from the time of transplanting seediing at 20 day and black plastic mulch gave the highest weight of fresh straw.
